Yeah...there's always a first time. All of us have experienced the first things of every experiences we had in our lives. Although it may not appear to be really significant yet the thought that it is to be treasured counts for everything happens the first time. Like first kiss...first love...first date...first whatever. Haha! I also have my own list of first things. And here they are:

FIRST DAY IN COLLEGE

Of course! This is the day marking my sign of being in a totally different world. My first day in college was hilarious! I had my mom with me because I just came from the hospital at those times and I was sick for what seemed like one month. Hmmm...not really sick. Just isolated for my medication. Then there were a lot of students in the school gate and I guess our batch, the fresh high school grads of 2004 were among the most numerous to ever enter the Nursing Department of MSH-CMAFi and there were like 17 sections in all. I belonged to the fourth! Hmmm...I didn't know what to do there so my mom was the one who was asking questions and guiding me then I met my first friend and we go to class together. But then it so happened that we have no class for the day so me and my new friend, Reen, went out to eat burger instead...nyahaha!!

FIRST JOB

Ok...as of the moment, I'm still a student. But I do had my first job back in high school. It was summer break and I would usually spend my whole summer in my room...snoring or watching TV since I'm not really allowed to go out that much. Then my cousins came along to have their vacation with us. They were like active and always on the go for adventure. So they tagged me along with them to DENR where we had our first summer job as "nature keepers." We planted trees, watered the plants and did a clean-up of the community. Whew! The blazing heat of the sun didn't matter...I enjoyed it and we got 3,500 pesos at the end of the summer job.

FIRST CLASSIC MOVIE I'VE WATCHED

The first oldies movie I've watched in my entire life is "Sound of Music." It was shot sometime in the year 1950's and it's a heart-warming, family, musical movie. The genre is very well acceptable and I really enjoyed the whole movie especially the cool songs such as the "Doe a deer...a female deer..." stuff like that. Haha! Until now...I still watch the movie and I've seen it when I was about five years old and I've memorized all the songs and the lines. I'll never get tired watching it.

FIRST DATE

Hmmmm...it happened when I was in my sophomore year in high school. It was Christmas Break and me and my cousin together with some girl friends went to the recreational area for a girls' night out. Then when we got there...I was really shocked when I saw my crush with his boy friends at the same place. So I was hesitant to get inside since everyone is starting to holler and cheer and teasing us. Then he came up to me and said "Hi!" So I said hi back too. Then everyone was pushing us to sit together and we talked. Lol! Swear...it's cheesy and I believe it's puppy love. But it's the first!

FIRST HEARTBREAK

First heartbreak...oh mo! It seems so hard to forget it. I was also in high school when this happened. Our Arts Class teacher told us to make a Christmas card for special people. So I made some for my friends, my family and my crush. Then I gave it to him with the Christmas spirit inside me. Well...I guess, he doesn't have an idea of what Christmas is because he tore my card and threw it in front of me. The saddest thing is that I thought he like me all along. I guess I was too assuming and it hurts me a lot for him to treat me that way. Huhuhu...T^T So I swear I'll never assume something unless I'm sure.

FIRST REAL BEST FRIEND

My first real best friend's name is Shannah. She's the prettiest and most popular girl back in high school and I thought she was snob or something...maarte. But then I found out that nobody liked her despite her beautiful aura...I guess they're just jealous of her. She's always alone so I made friends with her. We became really close and do stuffs together...we shop together, have our hair done together, buy the same clothes and accessories and even sleep at each other's place. We shared a lot of happy and sad memories together and I will never ever throw those memories away.

FIRST LOVE

Oh...first love! Who can forget that? My first love is nothing really romantic. I mean, we don't have anything special. I'm not even sure though if he likes me but I am sure I like him. But as of the moment, I don't know. I guess because I'm liking someone else already. I met him in college...he's really cool with his spike hair and cute eyes. I really love the way he smiles and the way he talks...he sounds so smart! He's my first love because for four years, I still feel the same way for him...the same way I felt on the very first day I laid eyes on him. But...now, I don't know. I've been confused lately and I guess I'll just have to wait for that guy who will truly love me...with no pretensions.

FIRST TEARS

Yeah...I do have those tears when I was a baby. But I am referring to the first real tears I've felt with real emotions. I was in college and you see, I'm so attached with my school, my friends, everyone that it's hard for me to leave them behind. It's because I have to go somewhere...and I'll be really sad when I leave. I just can't go and leave them behind. Even though I want to hear them say, "Mishi! Don't go!" But then I have to...I don't have a choice as of the moment.
